Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 13, 2026 · Last updated: April 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how daudio::dev ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Dessy and accessible at daudio.dev, collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We are based in Bulgaria and this policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. What Data We Collect
- Account data: Name and email address when you register.
- Purchase data: When you buy a plugin or ebook, we collect your email and transaction details necessary to issue your licence code and confirm your purchase. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store card details on our servers.
- Licence data: We store records of licence codes issued to your account to validate purchases and allow reissues or re-downloads.
- Support ticket data: When you submit a support ticket, we collect your name, email, and the content of your request.
- Contact form data: Name, email, and message content.
- Usage data: Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance. Not linked to your identity.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To process purchases and deliver licence codes to your email.
- To validate and manage your plugin and ebook licences.
- To respond to support tickets and contact messages.
- To manage your account and allow content contributions.
- To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, licence reissues).
- To maintain site security and prevent fraud or abuse.
We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
3. Stripe & Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. You submit payment details directly to Stripe — we receive only a transaction confirmation and your email. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data you provide during checkout: stripe.com/privacy.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
- Contract: Processing purchase data, issuing licences, and managing your account are necessary to fulfil our agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests: Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and handling support requests.
- Legal obligation: Retaining purchase records to meet financial and tax requirements.
- Consent: Any optional communications will only be sent with your explicit consent.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with:
- Stripe — to process payments securely.
- Hosting / infrastructure providers — under data processing agreements.
- Legal authorities — only if required by law.
6. Data Retention
- Account and licence data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after, to support licence reissues and purchase verification.
- Purchase records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial and tax obligations.
- Support tickets and contact messages are kept for a reasonable follow-up period, then deleted.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies (e.g. session management, keeping you logged in during checkout). No tracking or advertising cookies are used. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
8. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email dessy@daudio.dev. We will respond within 30 days. Note that some data (e.g. purchase records) may need to be retained for legal reasons even after a deletion request.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP) at www.cpdp.bg.
9. Security
Payments are processed exclusively through Stripe's secure infrastructure. Licence codes are tied to your account and email. We take reasonable technical measures to protect all data, but no system is fully immune to risk.
10. Children
daudio::dev is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided data and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform grows. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
