Terms & Conditions

Effective date: April 13, 2026 · Last updated: April 13, 2026

Welcome to daudio::dev, accessible at daudio.dev. By using this website, purchasing products, downloading plugins, or creating an account, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About daudio::dev

daudio::dev is an audio development platform offering VST3 and AU plugins (free and paid), ebooks, educational articles, DSP tutorials, and a community space for producers and audio developers. Products are sold directly through the site using Stripe as the payment processor.

2. Purchases & Payments

  • All prices are listed on the product pages and are charged in the displayed currency at checkout.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card details.
  • Upon successful payment, a licence code will be issued and sent to the email address associated with your account. Keep this code safe — it activates your product.
  • Purchases are tied to your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • Prices may change at any time. Changes do not affect purchases already completed.

3. Licence Codes & Activation

  • Each purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the product.
  • Licence codes may be used on a reasonable number of personal machines (e.g. studio desktop + laptop). They may not be shared with others.
  • If you lose your licence code, you may request a reissue by contacting us at dessy@daudio.dev from the email used at purchase.
  • We reserve the right to revoke a licence code if it is found to be shared, resold, or misused.

4. Refund Policy

Because our products are digital goods delivered immediately upon purchase (licence code issued on payment), all sales are final and we do not offer refunds as a general rule.

Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in cases where the product is demonstrably non-functional on supported platforms and the issue cannot be resolved through support. To request an exception, contact dessy@daudio.dev within 14 days of purchase.

EU consumers retain statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under EU law.

5. Plugin Licence (Free & Paid)

All plugins distributed through daudio::dev — whether free or paid — are licensed for use under the following conditions:

  • You may use the plugins in personal and commercial music productions and client work.
  • You may not redistribute, resell, repackage, or share the plugin binaries or licence codes.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the plugin binaries.
  • Plugins are provided "as is". We are not liable for damage to DAW projects, sessions, or systems resulting from their use.
  • We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any plugin at any time. Paid users retain access to the version they purchased.

6. Ebooks

  • Ebooks sold on daudio::dev are for personal use only.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or publicly share ebook content in any form.
  • A licence code or download link will be provided after purchase. Keep it safe as reissues may be limited.

7. Educational Content

All articles, tutorials, guides, and code examples published on daudio::dev are the intellectual property of their respective authors.

  • You may reference and share content with proper attribution to daudio::dev.
  • You may not reproduce substantial portions on other platforms without written permission.
  • Educational content is for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees about technical outcomes from following our tutorials.

8. Support Tickets

  • Support is provided on a best-effort basis for paid products.
  • We aim to respond to support tickets within a reasonable timeframe, but we do not guarantee response times or resolution of every issue.
  • Support covers installation, activation, and technical issues with our products. It does not cover general DAW support or third-party software issues.
  • Abusive or inappropriate support communications may result in suspension of support access.

9. User Accounts & Contributed Content

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not use your account to post spam, illegal content, or content that infringes on others' rights.
  • By submitting content (articles, comments), you grant daudio::dev a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and display it on the site. You retain ownership.
  • We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt unauthorised access to any part of the site or infrastructure.
  • Scrape or copy site content in bulk without permission.
  • Impersonate daudio::dev, its operators, or other users.
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent licence validation systems.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

daudio::dev and all its products, content, and tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all systems.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, daudio::dev and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, plugins, ebooks, or content — including but not limited to data loss, DAW session damage, or lost revenue. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase.

13. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing. Use of Stripe is subject to their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the conduct or policies of third-party services linked from this site.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Bulgarian courts. EU consumers retain all rights afforded under applicable EU consumer protection legislation.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform grows. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
